Janiro was set up by Rob Lyons from the UK and Jelle de Jong from the Netherlands. Having lived in Asia with their families, they discovered hidden cosmetic treasures still unknown to their friends at home.  They decided to set up a company with its roots in Asia to share these individual and unique beauty regimes throughout Europe.

Janiro's first successful product launch hails from the lush green shores of Singapore and is considered to be a staple brand amongst Singapore’s cosmetic and beauty sector.  The Ginvera Green Tea range is a much-loved skincare brand in South-East Asia, well-known for its light texture that results in flawless and radiant skin.  

Established over 20 years ago in 1985 Ginvera Green Tea has been a pioneer in manufacturing beauty & body care products in Singapore. With operations in Singapore, Malaysia,  Hong Kong and China and market reach to more than 15 countries including the USA, Europe, Japan, Middle East and S.E Asia.

Pioneer Dr Tor Lam Huat believes that a woman’s natural beauty starts with flawless and radiant skin. With this philosophy in mind, he created the first Ginvera product in 1985, direct from his own skincare laboratory. His formulas are based on traditional Asian beauty rituals and ingredients.
